27 – 29 August 2021
After surviving Wickham, Victorious Festival couldn’t have been more different – the weather was dry, warm and very pleasant. We setup on Thursday and for the first time at an event had a corner pitch, so opened on adjacent sides which we’d never done before.
Friday we arrived bright and early to dress our tent and with a more minimal set-up were open and waiting for the festival to start. When the gates opened there was a steady stream of people coming into the World Music Village, the stage kicked off (a bit louder than Wickham as we were so much closer to it!) and we were away.
From very early on we had lots of interest and quickly started to get clients wanting to ease pain and discomfort, lots of sciatic type pain also necks and shoulders – making a difference for the majority in a single issue short session – bargain for a tenner!
Thank you, I can move now
We were pleased with how busy we had been for Friday and looking forward to all areas opening on Saturday & Sunday. The hot sun on Saturday slowed things down a little, yet later when it cooled a little we were again busy easing pain in backs, necks, shoulders and feet; this continued again on Sunday with even more folk with aching feet & legs – on the third day of the festival I guess many of us were not used to walking around and dancing to some fabulous live music.
Amazing results from such a light touch
It’s so rewarding to make a difference to folk and why we do what we do, we are always delighted to help and wandered our way home on the last night tired and happy.
Packing away on Monday went quickly and we popped into Southsea for breakfast at the Farm Kitchen as a treat.
Felt so much more free after 10 mins
Thank you to everyone who chose to try our bodywork, we had a record breaking weekend with over 60 paid for sessions and hopefully brought positive possibilities to those whose pain we eased.
Thanks also to the Victorious Festival crew who, despite some challenges, managed to organise a great festival weekend. All being well we’ll be back next time.
